Privacy Policy of IPRO Industrieprojekt GmbH - Customers

1. Data protection

We, IPRO Industrieprojekt GmbH, attach particular importance to compliance with data protection laws. We comply fully with the relevant data protection laws, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (new). Personal data is processed exclusively based on the relevant laws and only for the purposes specified in No. 4. The data is processed only in accordance with the provisions of this privacy policy.

3. Data collection

We collect, store, and process the following categories of data to fulfil contractual and legal requirements:

  • Company data (name and address of the client, industry affiliation)
  • Personal details (name, address of the contact person at the client)
  • Contact data (phone number, email address of contact person)
  • contract data
  • Bank details
  • other data (position/departemnt of contact person, connection to business activities)

 

4. Purpose of data processing

We process the data mentioned in No. 3 exclusively

4.1 for the fulfilment of the contract or for the initiation of the contract, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR

 

4.2 to comply with legal, judicial, or official requirements/orders, Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR

 

4.3 to provide information about our range of services and events, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR

 

5. Data transfer

As part of project planning and engineering, we transfer your personal data (usually company, personal, and contact details) to subcontractors to obtain quotes for you. Depending on the individual case, these may also be in other EU countries or in a third country. We may also submit your building application. To do this, we transfer the necessary personal data to the relevant authority.

To ensure the proper shipment of goods or to enable it in the first place, we may provide your address data to transport service providers.

To ensure that incoming business messages can always be processed in a timely manner, every employee of IPRO Industrieprojekt GmbH has designated a deputy who can access the email account of the absent employee in the event of unplanned absences.

Furthermore, it may happen that processors commissioned by us gain access to your personal data. These include IT service providers who access our telephone system or our system for maintenance and support purposes.

 

6. Data transfer to a third country

Data is not transferred to third countries and there are no plans to do so.

 

7. Deletion periods

The personal data stored by us will be deleted or anonymized after the purposes mentioned in No. 4 no longer apply or after the expiry of any statutory retention periods.

 

8. Rights of the data subject

You can obtain information (Art. 15 EU GDPR) about the personal data we store about you, as well as the origin, recipient, and purpose of data processing, at any time and free of charge. You also have the right to request the correction (Art. 16 EU GDPR), blocking (Art. 18 EU GDPR), or deletion (Art. 17 EU GDPR) of your data. This does not apply to data that must be retained due to legal requirements or that is required for proper business transactions. You have the right to object to the processing of your data (Art. 21 EU GDPR) and the right to data portability (Art. 20 EU GDPR).

 

Right to object

In accordance with Art. 21 (1) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time, unless it is necessary for the performance of a contract, a legal obligation or the protection of vital interests..

You have the right to revoke your consent to the processing of personal data at any time with effect for the future. Processing that took place before the revocation is not affected by this.

If you do not feel that your rights are fully protected when your personal data is being processed, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for you.

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes the GDPR.

10. Obligation to provide personal data

If you wish to enter into a contractual relationship with us, you must provide the personal data that is necessary for the fulfilment of the associated contractual obligations or for which there is a legal obligation to collect.

If the data is not provided, no contract can be concluded.

We do not use automated decision-making to establish or implement customer or supplier relationships.
